With Host-ed.net there are 2 types of control panels.
The first is the members area which could be accessed through http://www.host-ed.me/members/clientarea.php with your administrative email address and the password that you have set up. This is the place from which you will be able to open a trouble ticket, pay your bill, change your billing info and other administrative stuff.
The second control panel is cpanel, which the most famous shared hosting control panel could be access by the following URLs:
Non SSL method http://yourdomain.com:2082 and temporary URL (before your domain has propagated) http://your.server.ip.address:2082/
SSL method https://yourdomain.com:2083 and temporary URL (before your domain has propagated) https://your.server.ip.address:2083/
The username and the password for this control panel could be found in the welcome email with subject "New Account Information". Through Cpanel you can manage the very hosting aspect of your account including, but not limited to site upload, email and database creation and many more.
