Self Issued SSL Explained Print

  • 12

You might get a warning when login cpanel because the SSL is self signed.
This actually means that your browser is signalizing you that the SSL is not issued by a well known commercial provider of SSL certificates, like geotrust, verisign or any other.
Please note that this does not mean that the connection is insecure or compromised in any way. The connection is as secure as with any other commercially issued SSL certificate that does not display such a warning. We prefer to invest in better server equipment or better software than paying for something that would not add any real value in terms of technical performance.
Please follow the instructions of your browser an accept the SSL in order to be able to view the requested page.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
